Marvel Super Hero Showdown Spider-Man vs. Thing Starter SetBuy It Now! = Durability = Fun = Educational = Overall Good fun for a dad and his son, January 12, 2006 Reviewer:Sandalphon "Me" (Midwest, USA) - I bought a starter and a few other figures for my son for Christmas with the intent of the two of us sitting down and playing together. The rules are easy to learn for an adult and easy to explain to a child. My seven-year-old and I have played quite a few games and have since purchased the other starter set and a few more other figures. The figures are smallish and feel like they would break easily, but we have not had one break yet. If you like table top gaming and you like Marvel comics characters, this is a really good game. I can't see myself playing this game with another adult, but it serves as a great introduction to gaming for my son and is more than good enough to hold my interest.
