I am planning to buy all the Bling Bling dolls so I can put their accessories together to make the outfit in the My Scene tv spot. FalconMom and LizzySammy, you are overreacting. LizzySammy, you are being sexist. Girls these days are not stupid enough to make a Barbie their role model. You said "girls look up to dolls as their role models!" do I look at my First Baby Annabell and say, "when I grow up, I want to be just like you!" ? No. Of course I don't. Barbie was never my idol when I was your daughter's age. And FalconMom, you said that "Mattel should pull these dolls from the shelves!!". I think you should have told your husband the gift guidelines for your daughter. Okay, this doll is a little trashy. But if you ask me, there's nothing wrong with the manufacturers. You people are overreacting. If you are such a lazy parent that you can't even take the time to help your child find a role model, but throw them a doll and say, "look, it's your hero" instead, you need help. Don't let your child idolize dolls. Both of you are overreacting and need to take a chill pill or maybe suck on an ice cube or drink some low-sugar soda.
